The Sunday Salon: To be young over 80

As I mentioned in my post before, I planned to finish today the book of Alain Robbe-Grillet, but the other one, the diaries of Alaine Polcz (1922-2007) seems to be more interesting now.

The book Ideje az oregsegnek [?Time to be old] is about the diary notes from the years 2002-2006.

The book is definitely about the all-day life of a 80-81 years YOUNG woman.

Her work, her plans(!), her travels… Past, present and future together.

It’s amazing, the joy of life of this very intelligent, smart, fascinating personality. She knows exactly, that every day to do something is a best medicine against the old-age-depression.

I’ve read already 50-60 pages, but I guess, I’ll read from it much more today.

I don't know this writer, but what you say about her reminds me of my grandmother who gladdened a lot of our hearts when she got married for the second time at the very young age of 89!
